In May of 2003, Dave Bittorf graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelor’s degree in Art with a focus of Computer Animation.
Currently he is an animation instructor at Platt College, San Diego teaching various Maya classes. Modeling, Texturing, Dynamics, and Advance Rendering methods are highlights of his courses. In the summer Dave is the Lead 3-D San Diego instructor for the Digital Media Academy. His classes range from Maya to Advanced Game Creation. He also does private tutoring sessions with Maya and Z-Brush.
Dave is also working with Attic Door Productions creating “13th Doll : The 7th Guest Part III”, a video game for both Mac and PC. He is responsible for modeling, texturing, and lighting environments for the game. The game has been in production since the summer of 2004.
When Dave is not creating 3D artwork at the computer you can find him painting traditional 2D artwork for homes and businesses. He started this business in 1999 and is often working along side his twin brother under the business name Mirror Image.
